Randy Schulz
b. 1954 Male B.A., B.Ed. M.A. Self employed! I suppose it's fair to say I've cut my teeth on many health issues since 1979, when I worked in Ottawa as a Health researcher in the federal system. It was there I was initiated in the politics of health and witness to the early stages of the fight to get a new Canada Health Act. In the mid 1990s I once again delved into health, only this time from a personal health perspective. Now, many years later, I can see that the structures currently in place are inadequate protection from epidemic of chronic denerative disease facing all of us. Prevention is the name of the game, and governments, the media, and the medical establishment will be far behind the many thousands and millions of people who well know they have to take personal responsibility for their own health. There, I've said it. I've been radicalized on health issues so much so as to attribute institutional motives to every utterance concerning health. I have motives myself, of course.;)
